The Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack # HR4000 is going to require a threaded hitch lock like the Lock # HRLHPT which should have come with the bike rack. A standard locking pin like the Lock # HRLHP2 you found is a full 5/8" diameter to fit the hitch pin hole while the Lock # HRLHPT has a 1/2" diameter threaded section. view full answer...
Sun, the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock for Kuat Transfer Bike Racks # HLT is not compatible with the Kuat Trasnfer V2 bike racks unfortunately. Instead, you'd want to use the Hitch Lock for Kuat Bike Racks # HL1, which is compatible with your V2. view full answer...
Yes there is! The best hitch for your 2023 Toyota Venza Limited Hybrid is the Curt Class 3 hitch # C89UR. We have confirmed with the manufacturer that it will be a fit for the Hybrid model, as you can see in the picture I included. The hitch has a tongue weight capacity of 525 lbs, so more than enough for a bike rack and a few bikes. It has a 2" receiver, so if your bike rack is made for a 2" receiver also, you will be good to go. If your bike rack is made for a smaller 1-1/4" receiver,... view full answer...
Hey Richard, yes we do have hitches that fit your 2020 Kia Forte hatchback that you can use with a bike rack. For that the Draw Tite hitch part # DT83MR is a fit and would be a great choice for a bike rack like the Hollywood Racks # HR200Z. view full answer...
Hey Scott, if you have a Hollywood Racks TRS bike rack that was designed only for 2 inch hitches there isn't a way to convert it to fit the smaller 1-1/4 inch size. The only solution would be the version of this bike rack that fits both hitch sizes like with the part # HR3000. view full answer...
Hey Karen, you'll need a specific adapter but the answer is yes, you can use a 1-1/4 inch to 2 inch adapter for your bike rack on your 2017 Ford Fusion with the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24897.
What you will need is one compatible with the Class I hitch, the Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # HTAD; to secure it to your hitch use the Pin & Clip # F-4.
Keep in mind this will halve the capacity of the hitch, so the capacity of your bike rack and bike(s)... view full answer...
Hey Tracy, so we have the EcoHitch front hitch part # 306-X7352 that is a fit for your 2022 Mercedes Sprinter and would work well with an e-bike rack like the part # TH903202 but I would anticipate it would interfere with front sensors just because of how large the bike and rack is. view full answer...
Hey Howard, thanks for reaching out!
For your application I recommend checking out the Saris SuperClamp EX Bike Rack for 4 Bikes # SA4026F because the two trays closer to the vehicle can accommodate up to 60 lb bikes and the two trays further from the vehicle can accommodate up to 35 lb bikes. This also uses ratcheting arms for both front and rear tires and can fit with a lot of fenders as well.
Any rack that can carry over 2 bikes will have a drop off in the weight rating for additional... view full answer...
You can use the Thule Epos Bike Rack for 3 Bikes # TH69XE with a receiver adapter like # HTAD but be aware that your tongue weight capacity of your hitch will be reduced by 50%. I'm not sure what the capacity sits at as is, but I'd guess somewhere around 200-250, meaning you'd be left with 100-125 lbs of tongue weight not including the rack itself which weighs 51 lbs.
So after everything is said and done, you'd have approximately 50-75 lbs to work with before you're overloaded. If that's... view full answer...
Hey Paul thanks for your question. The bike racks that fit 1-1/4" and 2" hitches, such as the RockyMounts MonoRail Solo # RKY10007 do use an adapter which allows it to fit both hitch sizes. I have included pictures below showing the rack with and without the adapter sleeve. view full answer...
Hi Tracy,
We can for sure get you a 3-bike rack for your ebike with a step-thru frame and two regular bikes. This is especially doable because your ebike is on the lighter side at just 40 lbs, and with that in mind what I recommend is a rack from RockyMounts:
- RockyMounts HighNoon FC Bike Rack for 3 Bikes # RKY74MR
The HighNoon # RKY74MR has a 45 lb per-bike capacity, and is a wheel-mounted rack which means it will work with your step-thru frame. Even if your bike (or bikes) have fenders... view full answer...
The hitch pin for the Kuat Piston Pro Bike Rack # KU66ZR which fits your 1-1/4" receiver is more of an anti-theft device than an actual securing pin. The built in anti-rattle puts tension on the receiver which holds the bike rack in place. When this is tight in the receiver the rack is not able to slide around in the receiver like your ball mount which used the larger hitch pin. view full answer...
Hey Robert,
I checked with our manufacturers and there isn't a hitch for the 2024 Audi Q5e, but we can still get you a way to carry your bikes, but it would have to be with a trunk-mounted rack, the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack # Y02634.
I know it's not specifically what you asked for, but I did want to at least give you the option for a way to carry your bikes with your Audi. view full answer...
I just have to tell you Ryder, the Yakima HoldUp EVO Bike Rack Y02479 which is the 2" version of the # Y02480 is not rated from Yakima to be used behind any trailer or with any kind of adapter/reducer. With that said it is your rack and your bikes so I cannot stop you from using an Adapter # HTAD to carry the rack.
Currently we do not have any RV rated bike racks that fit a 1-1/4" receiver without using an adapter. We do offer the Swagman Traveler XC2 Bike Rack # S64663 which will attach... view full answer...
Hi David!
The only hitch receiver size available on aftermarket hitches that fit your 2023 Volkswagen ID 4 use a 2" receiver. I know Thule can be a bit restricting when it comes to what they allow to be used with their bike racks so if you can let me know what rack you have and/or send in some photos I can see if we have a way to make your bike rack compatible with a 2" hitch that won't void the warranty, otherwise you'll have to use an adapter like the Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter #... view full answer...
The Curt # C11485 you looked at only fits sedan models. Unfortunately, there are no custom-fit hitches for the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C300 Coupe. If you want to add a 2" hitch you will need to take the # E17 to a local fabricator and have them fashion a custom hitch for your vehicle. If you're using a bike rack like the Thule Epos # TH49XE it would require 4-way wiring # 119250KIT to power the lights. Most bike racks do not have lights which means wiring would not be necessary. view full answer...
Hi Kevin,
The manufacturers we offer unfortunately do not have a trailer hitch confirmed to fit your EQE so the next option for hauling a bike rack would be to go with a roof rack system. There should be some fixed mounting points in your roof that you can use to attach the following roof rack components:
Thule Fit Kit # TH53EE
Evo Fixpoint Feet for Thule Evo Crossbars # TH49SC
Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711420
After installed you can then mount a rack like the Yakima FrontLoader... view full answer...
While I cannot say from looking at your image that the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack # HLY64FR will or won't fit your Sprinter van having the spare tire, I can give you some measurements that will help you to determine if it will. The bike rack itself is going to have 12" of clearance to the closest part of the rack(handle for inside bike secure to post) to the center of the hitch pin hole. If your spare tire sticks out more than 12" past the hitch pin center hole you are going to... view full answer...
